On June 24, CMS published “Medicare Program; CY 2027 Changes to the End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Prospective Payment System, Acute Kidney Injury Dialysis (AKI) Payment, and ESRD Quality Incentive Program.”

A 92-page PDF of the proposed rule updates dialysis facility payment under the ESRD PPS for ESRD and AKI patients, increases payment for home training, and revises the ESRD QIP.
