Outset Wins HHS Contract for Tablo HD System Use in Natural Disasters
By the end of 2019, a new U.S. Health & Human Services contract will be in effect to use the Tablo HD systems for disaster support. Tablo uses wireless data, sensor-based automation and an animated touchscreen to purify water and produce dialysate, for dialysis with just an electrical outlet and tap water. CEO Leslie Trigg said “Tablo’s design enables fast deployment to the field using existing water sources in the disaster-affected community. Its simplicity accelerates training and set-up time.”
