The launch of daily home HD in this country may surprise you

NephroPlus Kidney Care Centres in India—the brainchild of Kamal Shah, who may be the only person in India doing nocturnal home HD—now offers daily home HD at all of its 15 clinics. Daily home HD is especially appealing to working patients, though since it is more gentle than standard HD, others benefit from it as well. In India, most dialysis is self-funded; each daily HD treatment costs 999 Rupees, or just under $16.
