Medtronic to Acquire Avenu Medical—and Ellipsys Endovascular System

Next month, Medtronic and Avenu Medical expect to close an acquisition deal that will gain the large medical technology company a system that will allow creation of a dialysis fistula without the need for open surgery, and will add to its offerings in the hemodialysis vascular access space.
