Techs Improve Outcomes for Home Patients
An abstract presented at the Annual Dialysis Conference reported on a program using dialysis technicians to help nurses deliver care at home for PD and home HD. The findings? Clinic work flows were more efficient—and patient training time dropped from an average of 5.5 weeks to just 3 weeks.
