Kent Reporter Says Goodbye to Longest Surviving Kidney Patient
Nancy Spaeth, pioneer, activist, and shining icon of a life well lived with kidney disease, was “a petite person physically, with the biggest personality to help others that I have ever known,” said dietitian Katy Wilkins. Spaeth, who passed away in January at 74 after 55 years of transplant, PD, and home and in-center HD, will be missed by all of us in the kidney community.
