A 2026 James Dyson award is for a PD machine in development
Two recent college graduates in the Philippines invented the BiDaKidney, a low cost and semi-automatic PD machine. Prize money will go toward further development and commercialization with a goal of improving access to home-based care for Filipinos needing dialysis.
