Clove Hitch Dialysis Friendly Sweatshirts
I take ready made sweatshirts and alter them to make them dialysis friendly. I started doing this after my husband began going to dialysis in 2011 and complained he was cold all the time. The zipper is placed in the seam of the arm and it zips up from the wrist. There is the option to put the zipper in the right arm, left arm or both arms. Sometimes, my customers request that I put the zipper in a different location, such as the top of the arm or midway between the top and the seam. I do my best to accommodate any request as it is my customer who will be the ultimate user and the sweatshirt must work for them individually.
At this time, I offer 6 different styles (crew neck pullovers, hoodies and full zip jackets) in an assortment of colors, and, I am always on the lookout to add more options. After all, I believe that in addition to being warm during treatment, a person should also enjoy what he/she is wearing. It is so rewarding when my customers tell me the difference their purchase has made in their lives. My business is home-based and my shop is on Etsy.
