Expanding Care in the Home Act (H.R. 2853)
This bill would authorize Medicare payment for staff-assisted home dialysis, home infusion services and lab specimen mailing costs, and award grants to nonprofit health care entities and state and local health agencies to develop a home-based care workforce through training, recruitment, and placement in home-care models.” This bill was referred to House Ways & Means Subcommittee on Work and Welfare on 12/17/2024. It’s not likely to pass in this Congress.
