Concurrent Care for Comfort Act Would Provide Separate Payment for Palliative Dialysis

H.R. 8376 Concurrent Care for Comfort Act would provide payment for palliative dialysis (HD or PD) separate from the hospice bundle for eligible patients who elect hospice care. Because payment for hospice is not sufficient for agencies to pay for dialysis, most hospice programs only admit dialysis patients if they elect to stop treatment.
