A Non-Surgical Option for Vascular Access
Vascular specialists can now use WavelinQ. This new, non-surgical approach uses two thin, flexible, catheters, each with a magnet on the end. One catheter is threaded into an artery. The other goes into a vein. The small needle punctures that are used heal with no stitches and little to no scarring. A burst of radiofrequency between the magnets forms a fistula.
