Vascular Access Survival in Thrice-weekly In-center Nocturnal HD
In a retrospective cohort study, data on vascular access complications were collected from 145 adults using in-center nocturnal HD (INHD) who acted as their own controls. No increase was found in vascular access events for INHD vs. the control period. Grafts had a lower survival than arteriovenous fistulas, and anticoagulation with vitamin K antagonists increased the risk of vascular access events.
