Nephrologist Article Calls for Additional Incentives to Drive More PD

Certain stakeholders were left out of the financial incentives to grow PD in the ESRD Treatment Choices (ETC) model, asserts two nephrologists. Surgeons who place PD catheters, hospitals, assisted PD, nurse training, standard education for stage 4 CKD, and Project ECHO to disseminate expertise from centers of excellence to smaller ones should all be incentivized as well.
