Home Dialysis Is Growing, Says Dr. Thomas Golper

At the Southwest Nephrology Conference in March, Dr. Golper said that the chances that patients will succeed on a home therapy will improve if nephrologists do their part to individualize options based on patients’ needs and goals. “Most of us think patients need to first learn about the therapy,” he noted. “I think that before they learn about the therapy, we have to learn about them.”
