Remote Nunavit-dwelling Canadians No Longer Must Move to Get Dialysis
First Nations and Inuit people with kidney failure who live in the sparsely populated arctic Canadian territory of Nunavut could only get dialysis by moving to distant Winnipeg—until doctors lobbied for the government to pay for PD and to license Manitoba and Nunavut nurses to monitor a handful of these patients.
