ACA Plan Premiums Could Skyrocket
Medicare is not affected, but some home dialysis patients may have kept ACA plans with lower premiums when they started dialysis. Their premiums could rise dramatically. If they quality for Medicare, they may want to apply. S.2824,“A bill to amend the IRS Code of 1986 to extend the temporary enhanced premium credits,” would extend these tax credits through 2027. Ask your Senators for their support to help CKD patients who may depend on these tax credits.
