CMS Proposed Rule for Dialysis Payment Includes Home
Dialysis for AKI (CMS-1805-P)
CMS proposes to let patients with acute kidney injury train and do
home dialysis. The
rule would increase payment by 2.2% to $273.20 and change payment
adjustments and the quality incentive program. CMS is seeking
comments on a health equity measure by August 26, 2024.
