Study Offers Yet More Confirmation that Hours of HD MATTER
The new, 4-year prospective Q-Cohort Study from Japan compared less than 5-hour HD to 5+ hour treatments in 3,456 patients. Those whose treatments were 5 hours or longer were significantly less likely to die, even after adjusting for confounding risks.
